Deborah’s real estate career began in 1998 when, after working for over a decade as a CPA in tax, retirement and estate planning, she joined Virginia Properties. During her years in public accounting practice, she worked closely with individuals and small businesses, making client service her top priority. She has continued to place her clients’ needs at the forefront, choosing Virginia Properties due to its service-oriented reputation in the Richmond market. Deborah often works with clients long before they are ready to move in order to familiarize them with the housing market in Richmond and provide them with a high level of comfort about one of their most important life decisions. Since her second year as a real estate professional, she has been consistently recognized as a Top Producer and a Distinguished Achiever. Deborah’s undergraduate work was completed at Averett College and her master’s degree was earned at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, where she held a position as Lecturer in the Department of Accounting until moving to Richmond with her family in 1987. She brings to her clients a strong financial background, a true commitment to personal service and a love for the community in which she lives.
