Valeria Alphin, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Roanoke office,graduated from the Virginia REALTORS®association’s Virginia Leadership Academy (VLA) during the association’s 2017 state conference, held October 2-5 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.

Each year, Virginia REALTORS® selects promising leaders to participate in the VLA program through a competitive application process that prioritizes professional achievement in the real estate industry and community leadership. VLA cultivates talent and prepares Virginia real estate professionals for industry leadership at the state and national level.

Valeria was one of only 12 applicants from across the state accepted into VLA’s 2017 class, which included REALTORS® with residential and commercial expertise. A recognized change agent in the Roanoke community, Valeria also serves as president of the Greater Deyerle Neighborhood Association, and is past president of the Mountain View Neighborhood Association.

For SELLERS, all real estate is UNIQUE. Valeria tailors a CUSTOM marketing and advertising campaign for each individual property incorporating her more than 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing and advertising. Valeria uses comprehensive Internet advertising campaigns on a variety of web sites including, but not limited to: Realtor.com, Trulia.com, Zillow.com, and craigslist.com; advice on staging your home to sell, and an extensivephoto session of the entire property. A comprehensive market analysis will determine the pricing range for the home. Other marketing efforts could include: print media advertising, flyers, direct mail, open house, realtor luncheon and a variety of other guerilla marketing tactics.

Valeria has been a full-time Virginia REALTOR since 2006, and she has been a real estate investor since 2004. During her career she has worked with a variety of clients including real estate developers, relocation clients, move-up, downsizing, first-time home buyers, estate sales, and foreclosures. Valeria has worked with commercial, multi-family, retail and single-family real estate transactions and leasing; including warehouse to residential and apartment to condominium conversions, residential leasing, restaurant and retail leasing and property management.
