Licensed in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia, Bonnie Casper is affiliated with Long & Foster’s top-producing Bethesda Gateway Office and specializes in close-in Montgomery County and Northwest Washington, DC. A longtime resident of the Washington, DC area, she is intimately familiar with the real estate market in the District as well as its surrounding neighborhoods in Montgomery County and Northern Virginia.
Bonnie’s extensive knowledge of local, state and national politics and their impact on the real estate business has earned her respect throughout the industry and resulted in her election to several positions in local and state Realtor associations.
After serving as a director and officer with the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), she was elected president of GCAAR in 2012 and is the immediate past president of the Maryland Association of Realtors. She has served as the public face of real estate in the Washington, DC area, and has been interviewed on international television and radio numerous times. She has also testified before the Maryland legislature and local governments on such issues as the state of the market, the mortgage interest deduction, zoning, smart growth and economic development. In 2013 she was awarded GCAAR’s Realtor of the Year for her tireless work and advocacy on behalf of the real estate industry. In 2017 Bonnie was presented with the National Association's Omega Tao Rho award for service and leadership.
