Deborah’s 12 years as a management consultant have uniquely prepared her for the rigors and demands of handling sophisticated and time sensitive real estate transactions. Selling couture and fine jewelry for more than 10 years helped Deborah formulate a deep conviction in the importance of impeccable, personalized service.
A skilled interviewer, Deborah discovers her clients’ real estate goals and dreams and develops a plan for achieving them. Stunning photography and targeted text are hallmarks of her promotions to sell her listings. For buyers she organizes relevant and systematic searches leading the most demanding…or indecisive ...clients to a home they love.
Deborah has maintained her Virginia real estate license since 1991 and added Washington, DC and Maryland to her service area when she joined Long & Foster/Christies full-time in 2005. She is an Associate Broker in all three jurisdictions.
She holds degrees in Journalism from Ohio University and Psychology from the University of Maryland. She has worked as a photo-journalist for The Athens (Ohio) Messenger and The Cleveland Press and sold advertising for The Washington Post. She has also sold couture at Neiman Marcus and diamonds at Tiffany & Co.
In her free time Deborah enjoys photography, swimming and vegan cooking. She is a volunteer at Sun and Moon Yoga Studio. Also, she has not given up on becoming bilingual in French. Deborah lived in the Foggy Bottom, Woodley and Cleveland Park neighborhoods of Washington, DC for 10 years and currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
