Fatima Pereirahasbeen a licensed Realtor in Virginia since 2004 and received herbroker’s license in 2010. She started her career with a competing local brokerage before joiningLong & Foster in May 2011. At Long & Foster, she excelled not only in real estate sales, but also in training and mentoring agents—an ability that helped her earn the position of sales manager atthe company’s Manassas office in August 2012. She then was given the additional responsibility of sales manager at Long & Foster’s Gainesville office in June 2014, which lead her to becoming the the managing broker ofthe Annandale office in March 2015, were she managed until March 2018 when she was then named as the new Area Training Director for the Long & Foster offices in the D.C. metro areas. In her new role, she focuses on training, recruitment and agent development programs.
During her real estate career, Fatima Pereira has achieved many awards for her sales accomplishments. She has also earned numerous designations and professionalaccreditation'sandexpanded her experience and knowledge by becoming a real estate instructor and mentor. For example, she is a Buffini & Company Certified Mentor and Peak Producer and is training in Ninja Selling. She explained that her goal is to motivate and coach students to become independent successful real estate agents, and she looks forward to supporting the Long & Foster leadership and management team as well.
Pereira is dedicated to lifelong learning, and she has earned numerous designations and accreditationduring her extensive career. She is a member of the Virginia Leadership Academy, an elite and selective program offered by Virginia Realtors that is designed for real estate agents who are committed to excellence in their careers and communities. In addition, she has served on several committees with Virginia Realtors and is a member of the organization’s Honor Society, which recognized her participation in educational activities in local and state Realtor organizations.
Pereira has also held leadership roles with other industry associations, including a position on the Board of Directors of the Realtor Association of Prince William (PWAR), as well as a member of the Professional Standards Committee and Ombudsman Program for the PWAR and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
