Things to Do in King of Prussia

There’s much more to King of Prussia than shopping. It’s also home to history dating back to the Revolutionary War in Valley Forge National Historical Park. The site of the Continental Army’s camp in the winter of 1777-8, the time Washington’s army spent at Valley Forge is often looked at as a turning point in the war. The ill-equipped army emerged to successfully engage in New Jersey before finally securing General Cornwallis’s surrender in Yorktown, Virginia. Today, over two million people visit Valley Forge every year for tours, interactive programs or just to take a walk or a jog on the many trails and paths.

With over 400 stores, including luxury retailers, it’s no surprise that shoppers from across the region travel to King of Prussia Mall. The mall’s large selection of restaurants, from California Pizza Kitchen to Sullivan’s Steakhouse also makes it a popular spot for locals to enjoy date night. When residents are looking for an adventure that’s out of the ordinary, they can hit up one of the town’s two “Escape Room” adventures, or iFly, where adrenaline junkies can skydive indoors. Folks hoping to hit it big can head over to Valley Forge Casino for a fun night out.
