There was an increase in total units sold in April, with 1,047 sold this month in Philadelphia County Real Estate versus 934 last month, an increase of 12%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this time last year, an increase of 19% versus April 2012.

This month's total of 6,978 is higher than the previous month's total supply of available inventory of 6,744, an increase of 3%.

Last April, the median sale price for Philadelphia County Homes was $140,000. This April, the median sale price was $130,500, a decrease of 7% or $9,500 compared to last year. The current median sold price is 7% lower than in March.
