Wildwood is 45 minutes from Atlantic City and its international airport; drivers simply take the Garden State Parkway north to the Atlantic City Expressway. Bus riders, thanks to New Jersey Transit, have the Wildwood Bus Terminal for trips to Atlantic City and elsewhere in New Jersey. Philadelphia, at 87 miles northwest from Wildwood, makes for another favorite day trip among Wildwood residents. And closer to home, Wildwood residents and tourists can hop aboard a tram or open-air trolley car to get around parts of Wildwood during tourist season.
