LONG & FOSTER ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE FOR TOP OFFICE
Leon Nasar to Manage the Bethesda-Gateway Office
Chantilly, VA — Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest
independent residential real estate company in the United States, has named Leon
Nasar branch manager of the company’s top-producing Bethesda Gateway office in Bethesda,
Md. Nasar, former manager of Long & Foster’s W.C. & A.N. Miller Spring Valley office
in Washington, D.C., will be supported by Greg Scott, former manager of Long & Foster’s
Capitol Hill office, and Susann Haskins, former manager of the company’s Kentlands
Blvd. office in Gaithersburg, Md.

The Bethesda Gateway office—located at 4650 East West Highway in Bethesda, Md.—
is among Long & Foster’s premier offices, exceeding $1 billion in annual sales volume.
In 2010, the office successfully closed nearly 1,900 sales transactions at an average
price of $545,866. It is also home to The Banner Team, which ranked 90th out of
250 real estate teams nationwide, and The Rozansky Realty Group, which ranked 163rd
out of 250, based on closed sales volume in 2010, as ranked by The Wall Street Journal
and REAL Trends, Inc.
Nasar, who joined Long & Foster’s Bethesda Gateway office as a sales associate in
2005, was named manager of the W.C. & A.N. Miller Spring Valley office in 2010.
Within 15 months of taking that position, he successfully led the office to double
its residential sales production and facilitated a significant jump in commercial
production.

As a member of the Bethesda Gateway leadership team, Haskins, a real estate professional
for more than 20 years, will oversee the office’s daily operations and ensure transactions
run smoothly. Her experience includes success as a sales associate, an educator
and trainer, a branch co-manager, and a managing broker for Long & Foster.
Greg Scott, also a seasoned real estate professional, is an experienced sales associate
and has served as manager of one of Long & Foster’s most successful Washington,
D.C., offices. His primary focus will be in the areas of technology, training and
recruiting.
