Stephanie Mitchell proudly serves Charlottesville, Staunton, Waynesboro, and surrounding counties in Virginia. She is a licensed Realtor at Long and Foster's Charlottesville Historic Downtown Office and a member of the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, Virginia Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Women's Council of Realtors. She has loved the Charlottesville area since moving here to attend the University of Virginia and wants to share this gorgeous city with you! She has worked in customer service her entire career and looks forward to working with people at one of the highest points in their life. A graduate of the University of Virginia and James Madison University, she is also a member of the UVa Alumni Association.
Stephanie enjoys being active in the Charlottesville community and participating in activities that she is passionate about which include fighting cancer, working with children, and helping animals.
She has been actively involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life walk since she was in middle school to honor and remember friends and family who have fought cancer. She was also the Bark for Life Entertainment Coordinator for a dog walk for cancer. While in college Stephanie was the President of F.O.R.C.E. (Fighting, Overcoming, and Responding to Cancer Everywhere) and coordinated a Cancer Prevention Week, Skin Cancer Awareness Week, Fun for the Lungs 5K, and "Fight Cancer with Fashion" fashion show. She also worked closely with the UVa Cancer Center to visit and give small gifts to the cancer patients.
Stephanie loves working with children and was a Program Director with Madison House coordinating the enrichment program at the Salvation Army. Throughout her time in college, she also tutored children at local Charlottesville schools and the Salvation Army. This year Stephanie walked in the Run for Autism 5K to support the Virginia Institute of Autism.
As a lover and advocate for animals (with 4 rescue cats and 2 guinea pigs of my own), Stephanie volunteered at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA as a dog walker and cat socializer and most recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA's Bow Wow Walk.
Stephanie currently reside in Zion Crossroads, Virginia with my husband, Brian. We have six furry rescue children (4 cats and 2 guinea pigs). She also enjoys party planning and traveling.
