As a Montgomery County, MD native (Takoma Park!) and a resident of DC since 1998, I have lived in and loved this area my entire life. I've called everywhere from Capitol Hill to Gaithersburg to NW/Brightwood "home" and I enjoy the unique opportunities of living in "The DMV" so much. The warm and wonderful people, the rich history, the stunning natural beauty of our Nation's Capital are all reasons to make a home in this lovely city (or its 'burbs!!). Since buying my first home on Capitol Hill's east side (15th & E, NE) in the Fall of 2000, I've seen the joy that owning a home brings, as well as its ability to create financial security and build wealth.
