His interest in real estate ignited during his 20+ years in the architectural stone industry. Gil started as a sales manager for Charles Luck Stone in Virginia, providing support to homeowners, builders, interior designers and architects in the sales, specification, and installation of architectural stones. He then led the company's contractor sales channel and later managed the national distribution,while serving as a leadership mentor for Luck Stone’s corporate mission of igniting human potential through Values Based Leadership.
Over the years, Gil and his wife took part in their own real estate investment transactions, further cultivating their interests in market trends, neighborhood development and investing in real estate.
Gil's family moved to Charlottesville from New York City in 1997 and have since enjoyed living in the "best small city in America to raise a family". His wife works at the hospital while their children attended local schools and Virginia universities.

Gil obtained his undergraduate degree in Development Communications in the Philippines and earned his Master of Arts in Organizational Sciences and Graduate Certificate in Leadership Coaching from The George Washington University in DC. He is fluent in Tagalog and Ilocano languages.
