Jim Martin was born into a Mennonite Family in Lancaster, PA in 1955. He was the 5th of 7 children. He grew up on a dairy farm, milking cows before and after school. It was a healthy environment centered around family activities in a close knit community. Entertainment was playing softball, ice skating and other sports, or visits with family and friends.

At 19 years old, Jim moved to New York City and worked as a volunteer in the South Bronx Ghetto. He started and organized a Food Cooperative with neighborhood people and worked in other neighborhood and recreational programs. This work gave him a deep appreciation for other cultures. Jim went to college in Virginia and earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He worked in that field for a few years.

In 1983, Jim began a successful sales career, first in the auto industry. He started selling Chrysler/Plymouth automobiles. His 1st month at the company he was the Top Salesperson and continued to be at the top themajority oftime with the company. He then went on to sell Porsche and Audi automobiles.

In 1993, Jim began his Real Estate career. He loves the Real Estate Business. He enjoys helping people accomplish their dreams, problem solving situations, and interaction with his clients. Over the years Jim has enjoyed working with people from many cultures. Often his clients refer him to their friends and family. He also personally invests in real estate and helps his clients do the same.

His free time is spent traveling, visiting friends and family, running, skiing, and sharing life with his wife & son. Jim is thankful for the trust that his clients have put in him and he values the opportunity to be of service.
