Mission Statement

As the Vice President of Professional Development at Long & Foster, my mission is to cultivate, empower, and support our real estate agents in their business practice. Along with my knowledge, experience and value of understanding the entire real estate process, I am dedicated to fostering their growth and success.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Psychology from George Mason University in 1988, I embarked on a journey blending human behavior understanding with real estate practice and education.

As the Director of Agent Services from July 2021 to March 2024, I co-founded Agent Assist, a program dedicated to easing agents' administrative burdens. My initiatives included launching the Agent Affiliation Program, recognized with the 2024 Apex award for Outstanding New Initiative, and establishing the L&F Institute, our all-in-one learning management platform. I played a pivotal role in developing our proprietary Connect App and FOSTER, our marketing and productivity hub. Additionally, I trained agents and leadership on essential tools as a Master faculty member of the Success Path Agent Tools Team.

Prior, as Training & Operations Manager for the NOVA region, I oversaw agent onboarding, supported recruitment efforts, and provided training and operational assistance. During my tenure as Managing Broker at Long & Foster Real Estate Inc.—Manassas VA Office, I managed a team of 60 agents, instituted a successful Mentor Program, and coached agents using Ninja and 12-Week Year programs.

Since 2003, I've excelled as an Agent and Associate Broker, co-founding The Tobin Team LLC and achieving Gold Team Membership. I've also led a Mentor Program, fostering growth within the company.

On a personal note, I cherish my 35+ years of marriage, raising two daughters (one a fellow L&F employee), and enjoying time with my son, six grandchildren (with one more on the way), and our beloved dog. Beyond real estate, I find joy in yoga, hiking, camping, family gatherings, cooking, and savoring a good glass of wine.
