Trusted and admired by his peers in the Charlottesville real estate community, Tom has been an active leader at his firm, Long and Foster, and within the local realtors association, CAAR, for many years. His passion for the smooth and effective implementation of technological advances that enhance the quality of service realtors can provide clients has driven him to serve as a valuable member of the CAAR Board of Directors and Technology, MLS, Operations and Professional Development Committees for years.
A native-son, Tom is deeply connected to Charlottesville: the place, the community, and its people. Actively engaged as a friend, a neighbor, and a family man, Tom is a welcome presence wherever he turns his energies and attention. He maintains strong connections with his Virginia Tech alumni network; with his Glenmore community; with his children's past schools; church; and with golfing organizations.
