I am a lifelong resident of Delaware. In 1970, my parents purchased the Ocean View Hardware Store and with a move to the resort area in Ocean View. My family started a housing and remodeling construction business. I worked and attended college locally. In 1982 I began my career as a member of the Delaware State Police and continued for 31 years until retirement. During my professional career, I worked and lived in all three counties. Personally and professionally it gave me a special knowledge of the local community. Living in Sussex County and specifically the resort area has afforded me the lifestyle and environment second to none. I have been involved in numerous community organizations throughout my adult life. My wife, Dona, and I raised four sons and currently have two grandchildren.
