My husband David and I are a real estate team. Our enthusiasm for real estate comes from working with buyers and sellers everyday. There is nothing like the satisfaction of finding the perfect house for a buyer, or helping a seller achieve, or even exceed their goals. Our Background
We have spent much of our lives as Washington area residents and have lived in our current home, a 1919 farm house in northwest Washington’s Palisades neighborhood, since 1986.David graduated from Yorktown High School in Arlington, Virginia and then from Georgetown University. Nancy graduated from Holton-Arms School in Bethesda and then from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
We both taught English as a foreign language at the Berlitz School in Paris for a year and then returned to work in broadcasting in the United States. Nancy then moved on to a twenty year career at World Wildlife Fund, first as Publications Editor and then as Vice President for Program Services. Her experience at WWF managing a multi-million dollar grant program gave her invaluable negotiating and people skills that benefit buyers and sellers alike. David’s many years in the broadcast and entertainment industries, hosting radio programs, appearing in films and commercials and doing voice work have equipped him with a keen ability to listen to peoples’ goals and translate them into results.
We became Realtors in 1993 and since then have achieved a solid track record of successfully representing both buyers and sellers, having listed or sold over 130 homes in the Palisades area alone. We work in all price ranges and we are experienced in dealing with single-familyhomes, condominiums and cooperatives. We are both licensed in D.C. and have extensive knowledge of Washington’s upper Northwest communities. Nancy is also licensed in Maryland.
