I am Dianna L. Bentley and I’m a Realtor with Long & Foster Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. I serve the Northern Virginia area, specializing in supporting military and State Department families relocating to and from the area. Prior to becoming a real estate agent I served in the U.S. Army for 26 years, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer Four. I served multiple diplomatic tours in various places to include Jordan, Algeria, Croatia, Colombia, and Italy. During my career in the Army, I moved 13 times, with 6 of those moves being to and from Northern Virginia. From my personal and professional experiences I was able to develop crucial skills directly transferable to being a real estate agent – negotiation, organization, project management, attention to detail, understanding of different cultures, customer service and more. Outside of real estate I like spending time with my two rescue dogs, running and competing in Ironman triathlons, creating art and living a healthy and activelifestyle. I decided to become a real estate agent because I had such a positive experience in purchasing my home that I wanted to give the same level of support to those in search of their dream home!
