Originally from Tennessee, Chapel Hill and the real estate profession have been my home for 38 years. I know all facets of real estate, including the three "R's" rentals, relocation and remodeling! Building and construction are in my blood and I represented builders exclusively for 11 years before branching into general brokerage. I have personally supervised many remodeling and home addition projects.
While a designated Luxury Homes Specialist I also love working with first time home buyers and helping them establish roots and build financial security. A couple of years ago I moved which reminded me of what my clients go through and how to serve them better. Shortly after purchasing what I thought was going to be my forever home, life changed and now I have a multi generational household and experience for myself what a wonderful concept that is.
My mom taught me that giving back was an important part of being an adult and I love serving my Realtor Community by teaching classes, mentoring agents, lobbying for personal property rights and many other activities. Those efforts earned me the honor of Realtor Of The Year in 2019 for the Durham Regional Realtor Association. I have served as regional vice president for the North Carolina Association Of Realtors.
The best part of real estate is the people met along the way and the relationships built. I have friends all over the world due to my real estate career, who I love to visit.
When not representing clients I love to be outside....walking, landscaping, gardening, cooking and playing with my grands.
