Hi! My name is Ally Litten.
I am a REALTOR® at Long and Foster Real Estate in Cumberland, Maryland.
Born and raised on a mountaintop near Cresaptown, Maryland, I have learned from a first-hand experience how special this area really is.
All my life I have been passionate about writing, art, history, and so much more. While completing my Bachelors of Science in Strategic Communications at West Virginia University, I really began to put these pieces of my personality together to create a career.
Public relations, marketing, and real estate is where I found myself.
Over the course of the past five years, I have thrown myself into many projects and jobs. I have managed and grown very successful social media accounts, written an award-winning blog, thrown large events, and had over forty news articles published.
Not only have I loved marketing and public relations, but I have excelled at it.
However, my true love is Western Maryland and the Potomac Valley.
Life moves a little slower here.
From scenic railroad excursions to river rafting to hometown festivals, I love every minute of it.
After graduating from college, my boyfriend and I crossed off one of the items I had put on my bucket list as a kid- we bought a home on Historic Washington Street! I had always dreamed of owning one of these homes and I made it my reality. Our home isn’t the largest on the street by any means but it has character- and most importantly, a story! We’re still in the middle of fixing it up but so far it’s looking great!
Favorite part about Washington Street? Being in the heart of Cumberland. I had always lived outside city limits in the Cresaptown/Pinto and Cumberland Country Club areas.
Now that I am walking distance from Cafe Mark, The Manhattan Social, the canal, and so much more, I really appreciate everything this city has to offer. I love a small town.
This love of Western Maryland and the Potomac Valley of West Virginia has taught me what a gift it is to reside here.
I have taken this passion and turned it into a career.
Whether people are buying a new home or selling an old one, I am here to assist them in their new adventure.
In 2018, I received my West Virginia real estate license. As a WVU alumna with strong family roots in Mineral County, I am very proud to stay in the area and do business in the Mountain State.
My expertise in marketing and Allegany, Mineral, Garrett, and Hampshire Counties is the perfect combination to attract buyers to your property or find you the home you’ve been searching for.
