Let me take a moment to introducemyself. I ama licensed REALTOR® in VAand MD, and I'm affiliated with Long & FosterREALTORS®, but I work almost exclusively from my home office. I've livedin the area since 1994. Mybusiness philosophy is based on honesty,loyalty, and facilitation (v. salesmanship); the first two of which I requestin return from my clients.

I work with a wide spectrum ofclients, but my focus is largelyon military and government clients. This is probablyinfluenced most by my background. I served 8 years in the Air Force (BollingAFB and the Pentagon) and worked as a civilian with Army Special Forcesofficers (Army Human Resources Command, formerly in Alexandria)for acouple years before transferring to real estate full-time. My husband isretired from the AF and working as aFAAcontractor. My dad retired from the Navy after 24 years. My father-in-lawretired from the Army after almost 30 years and retired as an Army contractor.My mother-in-law, who was a Marine/Navy contractor, alsonow isretired. As you can see, we truly are a jointservice/government-oriented family. As a result, I have a fair understanding ofmilitary, federal civilian, and contractor lifestyles, needs,VA loans (Ieven have the VA processing center on my speed dial), etc. I also reallyenjoy working with first-time home buyers.
