Debbi was a founding member of the Friends of Montrose Park, twice chaired the Bark Ball for the Washington Humane Society, was chair of the Children's Hospital Young Perspective Council, and has worked with other community, small business, and animal welfare organizations in the DC area
Debbi has two grown children who were born and raised in DC. She lived in Georgetown for over eight years and has lived in the Kent/Palisades neighborhood of Northwest, DC, for more than 20 years.
Each morning, Debbi and her rescue dog, Brady, can be seen walking in Battery Kemble Park. She practices yoga regularly and plays tennis sporadically.
