A Little About Me…
I was born in Bronx, NY and after 3 years moved to the Hazlet, NJ area. My family, which includes 3 older brothers, lived there for about 7 years. My family started to explore the Virginia area and found Appomattox, VA, where we moved and I graduated from High School. When I was 18 years old, I decided to move back to NJ to continue my education. I lived in the Princeton/Hamilton area, where I worked for Educational Testing Service "aka" ETS. I stayed there for 6 years, working on many testing programs for nurses, architects, financial planners and an English as a second language test. It was a great job, I gained so much knowledge about different cultures, organizations and most of all, about people. My position in the company was always about building relationships, problem solving and communication. That’s when I realized how much I enjoy helping people! Although, I loved the company I worked for, I decided to move back to VA to be closer to my family and that’s when I found the Shenandoah Valley Area. I started working for Countrywide Home Loans, as a Client Services Specialist and stayed with them for a number of years. I really enjoyed helping families make their dreams come true. It was so rewarding working with families who thought they could not buy, to those who were buying their dream home or retiring. The one thing that I was missing was the face-to-face contact. Most of my work was done over the phone.
Time for a change… I got my Real Estate license, I started working with a team to learn the ropes . I wanted to ensure that I was in a position to give my clients the best possible customer service. When I felt confident about being able to do that, I started out on my own as an Independent Realtor. I always knew I cared enough about people for them to recognize my loyalty, but was not sure that I could make myself stand out among so many Agents. The families and people that I have worked for and with, have made me realize that "no one cares what you know, until they know that you care".
I feel so lucky to be able to make a living helping people. I have worked hard to ensure that every one of my clients has had a pleasurable and exciting experience when buying their home. I currently stay in touch with many of them on a regular basis. I have met so many wonderful people and have been touched by or touched someones life almost every single day.
What more can I ask for?
