Stephen has been a residential real estate agent for more than twenty five years, starting at the luxury boutique firmBEGG/LONG & FOSTER Real Estate in Georgetown, Washington DC. Experienced in real estate representation, he has assisted buyers and sellers through the process with exemplary service, support and discretion. Stephen has teamed in past with colleague Salley Widmayer to launch/represent the luxury residential apartment buildings, THE HEPBURN in Dupont Circle and The Residences at Eastern Market in Capitol Hill. In 2019 they launched the newly constructed apartment residences "1331". Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, "1331" is located in Washington’s Wharf District and was the most prestigious luxury residential building to date in Washington DC.

Stephen lived in Athens, Greece, the Washington suburbs, and has been a resident of the Foggy Bottom neighborhood in Washington DC with his partner for over 43 years. Graduating from MICA(Maryland Institute, College of Art) in Baltimore and Parsons School of Design in New York City, he brings years of experience with an astute ability toward creative marketing & sales. One of the most prestigious accomplishments in his career was as co-lister of Washington DC’s high profile Arte-Moderne property,The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Estate. Stephen was personally responsible for the marketing and promotion of this unique property, working closely with the President of the Cafritz Foundation; this was at a time when the vastness and ease the internet now offers did not exist.

As of Summer 2022 LONG & FOSTER RE joined an exclusive affiliation with FORBES GLOBAL PROPERTIES, adding a higher level of marketing services to benefit clients expectations. Stephen has been awarded for his accomplishments and since Winter 2020 continues his career working from his home in Foggy Bottom.

Though real estate takes precedence, Stephen spends leisure time with his partner of over 40 years to enjoy opera & travel, and continues his keen interest in art through painting. Additionally, Stephen has supported local community events, volunteering for The Georgetown House Tour and The Georgetown Garden Tour.
