Alice loves being a Realtor as it challenges her to become better every day and always strive to go the extra mile in serving clients. Alice made a career change to real estate in 2014 in order to gain more control and flexibility with her career while also serving the community. Growing up in the Richmond area, community has always been important to her, and she loves the opportunity to introduce RVA to those relocating to the area as well as to help clients navigate the great local neighborhoods. She is also thankful to have a great team and support network with Erik, their assistant Patty, their media coordinator Amy, their managing broker Beth and Long & Foster's regional leadership, including Regional VP Brian Haug in assisting with resources to provide high quality service to clients. She loves being a part of a team, where she and Erik combine their individual strengths to serve clients together!

Erik got started in real estate in 2015 after following his passion as an artist to earn his degree in painting and print-making from VCU. Erik loves to solve problems for people, and real estate offers many opportunities for him to utilize this talent. Erik has a keen eye for detail, a quality he picked up through his years of experience as an artist, a great asset for his clients. Erik also understands that the home buying and selling process can be stressful. His 10 years of training in martial arts has provided him with more than just the ability to defend himself. Erik has transferred these skills into his work with clients, helping them manage the range of emotions they experience throughout the home-buying and selling process. In real estate, self-discipline is essential to reaching every objective, which is why he loves being a part of The Scott Team, where he and Alice can work together in a great partnership for each and every client.
Patty Alspaugh

When you hear from Patty, that means you are under contract! Once a home goes under contract, Patty works side-by-side with Alice and Erik to make sure that all parties are fulfilling their contractual obligations to go from contract to closing. Patty will be in constant communication with you as well as with both the sellers' and buyers' closing attorneys, the lender and the other Realtor in order to ensure a smooth closing. She is an integral part of The Scott Team's success and is always available to answer your questions!
