About Annie Witte Raymond
I take great pride in being a Realtor and member of the Long and Foster Eastern Shore team. I grew up sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and have made the Eastern Shore my home for over 30 years. I absolutely love this area and all it has to offer. I have lived in the great state of Maryland my entire life.
I have spent the majority of my career in industries focused on customer service. When I was 17 years old I began working in the restaurant business where I learned the value of customer care. I then became co-owner of Chesapeake Chicken and Rockin Ribs. I made sure not only to meet, but exceed, customer expectations and found this to be key in fostering lasting relationships and earning customer loyalty. Then, 15 years ago, I translated my passion for photography into a second business venture – allowing me to capture the beauty of the Eastern Shore and its people with my lens. Again, I took great care in customer service – working overtime to return a product that exceeded expectations.
This strong work ethic can be traced back to my roots. Growing up as of one of six children, I was very ambitious early on. I was a "do whatever it takes to get the job done" kind of kid who was always willing to pitch in. Whether I was solving a problem, tackling a project, or lending some elbow-grease, my siblings knew I was someone they could count on.
Being ‘one of many’ taught me the skillful art of both communication and negotiation – a skill-set that has come in handy for all that followed!
I am a Mom to my wonderful daughter Aggie who is now 24, and Dog Mom to my Chocolate Lab Frankie. I am a big lover of animals and have many Dogs in my life that I absolutely love. I am also engaged to my best friend Charlie, we love to hike and go on adventures together.
I believe being of service to others is very important. I am a mentor with Talbot Mentors, VP of Talbot Optimist Club. Co-Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the MidShore board of Realtors and many other past committees.
