The single family home real estate market in Midlothian continues to be very tight.  Homes are going under contract very very quickly, many with multiple offers and prices on some homes going well above the asking prices.  Many buyers are coming in with few contingencies in their offers.  It is rare that an offer on a home in Midlothian will have a home sale contingency in it, or even a contingency that is contingent upon the successful closing of a home.  Buyers are having to act very quickly to get offers in, sometimes on the first or second day that the house is on the market.
