This experience gave him an intimate knowledge of the civic workings of the local communities in our metro region,and extensive insight into how we can all make a positive impact on the health of our region through our land practices.His real estate practice has helped him deepen the negotiation and consensus building skills he developed early on in his career.

He is involved with Capital Rowing Club on the Anacostia River, as well as the Anacostia Community Boathouse Association.
