I work HARD to serve my clients! I’m a former Naval officer (a four-year NROTC Northwestern University scholarship recipient) whose favorite tour of duty was serving the United Nations Command, working with senior US military commanders and foreign diplomats to maintain the Armistice that ended the Korean War. I’m also an expatriate wife and mother of three, and have lived 13 years outside the Continental United States, alongside my career Marine-Corps officer husband, Jim.
Jim and I bought our first home in Springfield, Virginia, when I was 24; we have maintained multiple rental properties since 2002. As a Realtor, I love helping first-time homebuyers, but I’m equally passionate assisting seasoned sellers. I use both market statistics and common-sense practical experience in helping sellers price homes, and buyers make wise bids.
When not pursuing my full-time real estate endeavors, you’ll find me teaching the Junior Conservatory Division a night or two a week at BalletNova Center for Dance. My mother is a retired dance teacher, and I learned the values of hard work and attention to detail helping her run her small-town Iowa dance studio. From dance, I also learned the importance of training, and I am grateful to my mentors at Long and Foster for trusted, real-time guidance and quality continuing education.
