Since Columbia, Maryland was built in stages from the 1960s to 1990, you won't see a lot of architectural diversity within the individual villages. One exception is the Columbia neighborhood of Stevens Forest, where you can discover a mixture of Modern, California, and Contemporary architectural styles.
