It all started at age 8. There I was with a tape measure in hand helping my dad measure a house in Augusta County. He recently left the flying business and he was using me to hold the "dumb end" of the tape measure as he was starting his real estate career. "You at the corner, " I can remember him asking. "Yes," I replied. His business lasted more than 50 years and involved subdivision development, selling farms and raw land in the Shenandoah Valley.
I came back to the business in 1990 when Carol Cuneo joined Bowers Nelms & Fonville, which was purchased by Long & Foster in 1998. I have a passion about my clients. I tell them the truth. And, I will not take photos of your property. I use a professional photographer for that most important job. Also, I use a professional home decorator to make sure your house shows its best.
