In 2010, Nanette moved to the Charlottesville area and has lived here since with her husband, daughter and two rambunctious dogs. Previously, Nanette had lived in some of the most interesting cities in the United States, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Las Vegas. The process of moving residences over the years has given her personal experiences in real estate as a renter, buyer, seller and landlord.
Prior to being housewife and mom, Nanette had a 20-year hotel career. She had worked in prestigious luxury hotels as Director of Sales and Marketing including The Peninsula NY, Hotel Plaza Athenee NY, and Hotel Bel-Air in LA. Working for these hotels required extensive travel, both within the U.S. and overseas, giving her a wide network of friends and colleagues here and abroad. She has developed a strong skill set in sales and is a seasoned negotiator with keen attention to detail. For fun, she is passionate about cooking, gardening and photography and occasionally offers cooking classes, specializing in various Asian cuisines.
