Patricia Murphy

I wanted to be a real estate agent since I was16.Mymom worked in real estate in Northern Virginia as a broker’s assistant for many years & I loved being around it. After I graduated from college, my parents told me I had to get a \real job\ & since they had paid for my education, I complied. Real estate is actually my third career. Upon graduation, I joined corporate America as a financial analyst. Once my babies came, I became the office manager in my former husband’s law firm for 18 years. When my marriage ended, I had to find a new job & a dear friend reminded me that I always loved real estate. I finally got to be what I wanted when I grew up!
In 2021, I ranked 9th for the L&F NOVA/WV region out of 1700 agents, 43rd in the Fredericksburg region of 1200 agents. I am honored that in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 I have been ranked in the top 20 within that same group of fabulous agents. I was delighted to receive the 2020 Good Neighbor Award from the Fredericksburg Area Realtors Association.

I REALLY love my job. But I also REALLY enjoy time with my husband & kids and doing anything outside. I volunteer at my church and the Spotsylvania county animal shelter walking dogs and helping the staff there. With each of my transactions, I donate $250 to the shelter.
