The community is home to Delaware Rush Soccer Club, and other youth sports that are popular among families. There are several retail centers for shopping and dining, including the original village center, home of the landmark Back Burner Restaurant and Tavern. It opened in the early 1970s and is known for its Better Cheddar dip.
