My name is Sandy Huffman with Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., located in the Beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia!
I've been in the real estate business since 1998 and while not everyday has been a perfect TV episode of House Hunters, this career has been a very fulfilling and happy blessing for me.
A few tidbits about me...I'm a full time real estate agent and member of my local, state and national Realtor Associations. I'm currently serving my local Real Estate association on various committees and one of my favorite roles was serving as Greater Augusta Association of Realtor's 2017 President - shew! What an experience!
I enjoy helping my clients and fellow agents with the heart of a teacher and not a sales person...I strongly believe when we understand the process and have the best information possible, we make better decisions. When I was a rookie agent, the older, more experienced agents encouraged me to SERVE. They said the best way to stay on top of what's going on in our industry and how it affects homeowners is to serve in our local and state associations. So...I started volunteering on committees such as Education, Trade Show, Professional Standards, Public Relations and believe it or not...Legislative committee. Most recently, I'm enjoying teaching New Member Orientation and heading up the Trade Show Committee. I've also served on the Board of Directors and for 3 years as the Board Secretary. I am so happy I took that leap and branched out of my comfort zone because I have thoroughly enjoyed helping my association and getting to know so many of the members and to gain the blessing of doing something that I thought I wouldn't be able to do : )
I have had the awesome heart warming experience of getting to know many of the homeowners here in our area as they buy and sell and count it a JOY to be a part of their team! I want to be the ONE you can always turn to for help streamlining the paperwork, doing the legwork and the busywork. After we find "the one" comes "the many" - the many steps, the many calls, the many signatures and I'll help you all along the journey of finding the ONE and making it YOURS.Imagine a real estate experience so seamless, you'd do it all over again without hesitation.

I love reading historical fiction when I am not working as well as hanging out with my friends and family : )) I love to cook, play with my Grandson and see the world from his eyes and teach in Kid's Power Zone at my Church.
