Shawne brings 25 years of experience as a business owner and attorney to her real estate career.

Prior to joining Long & Foster, Shawne practiced law in New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Shawne’s love of real estate was kindled when she and her husband bought their first building and converted it into condos, while living in Chicago.

Shawne brings legal expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit to her real estate business. As an attorney, she can explain complexities of the contract in easily understood terms. She is energetic, hard-working, and a strong advocate for her clients. Shawne loves working with people of all backgrounds and thrives on the challenges of guiding them through the D.C. area’s active, competitive real estate market.

When she’s not immersed in real estate, Shawne enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and traveling the world. Her love of travel landed her on Season 16 of the Amazing Race. While she didn’t win the million dollar prize, she loved the adventure and the opportunity to push herself further than she ever thought imaginable.
