As a real estate agent, I work and live for the love of home. I’m your trusted advisor, practiced negotiator, skilled house-hunter and neighborhood expert. Whether you’re buying, selling, renting or investing, I’ll guide you through each step as your priorities become my priorities.
The overarching theme of my professional career is coaching others to reach their goals. For many years, I’ve guided individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds on how to excel academically, in the work place, and in their personal lives. Having a plan, whether it is choosing a college major, preparing for a career transition, or coping with life's uncertainties involves setting short- and long-term goals and contingency plans. Such is true for buyers and sellers as they navigate the real estate rental or sales transaction process.
As a real estate owner, I’ve found that it’s best to surround yourself with a team of experts who work well together to guide you through the home rental, sales or purchase process. As a result of the seamless services and positive outcomes you experienced, you would not hesitate to recommend these experts to your friends and family. That’s why I chose to train and affiliate with Long and Foster. As the nation’s No. 1 independent brand (by sales volume), Long & Foster has guided people home since 1968. We’re a full-service brokerage firm, offering residential and commercial real estate, mortgage, settlement, insurance, property management, corporate relocation and vacation rental services.
My husband, a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, currently enjoys his second career in elementary education and instructional, technology. We root for the Washington Capitals Hockey, and Washington Nationals and Potomac Nationals Baseball teams and enjoy spending time with family and friends, both two- and four-legged.
You'll often see me in my yard planting flowers as there is something very grounding to me about having my hands in the soil. Like flowers blooming, it reminds me of how my mother grew in me the importance of faith, family and land-what matters and what lasts. Seeing the movie,Gone With the Wind, as a young child further instilled in me the importance of compassion, perseverance, and staying true to one's self, The main character, Scarlett O'Hara, loved her Southern plantation home,"Tara," named after a famous hill in Ireland where leaders went to gaze upon the vast beauty and bounty of the land they sought to preserve and protect.
My childhood home in West Virginia is my "Tara." I would be honored to help you find your first, next or forever home.
