"Buyer and Seller In 2011 I put my home on the market. I chose a realtor based on a recommendation from someone in my office. This was the wrong realtor. While she was more than willing to take us to see new homes for purchase, her sales drive or skills or abilities with regards to selling my current home were confounding. She came to the house, took a few pictures, posted on MLS, put a FOR SALE sign in my front yard, and virtually disappeared. Six months later I had no offers, almost no foot traffic (except for the 2 open houses we begged for), and rarely a sight or sound from the person we thought would be eager to help us with these major life transactions.
