Greg Schulte

Greg Schulte leads finance and accounting for The Long & Foster Companies as the East Region Finance Director at HomeServices of America. He joined Long & Foster’s leadership team in fall 2023, bringing over three decades of expansive accounting, auditing and financial management expertise in residential and commercial real estate, as well as hospitality.

Schulte most recently served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. During his nearly decade-long tenure at BHHS California Properties, he helped the real estate brokerage to strengthen its financial position as it expanded throughout Southern California. His financial acumen and strategic approach to business operations helped ensure the company consistently achieved high returns on its agent and company investments.

Prior to joining BHHS California Properties, Schulte worked as the CFO and Chief Operating Officer for a homebuilder in Encinitas, California. He also spent nine years with a large, full-service real estate company in San Diego. In addition, Schulte worked at a global audit, tax and advisory firm for almost two decades, and there, as an audit and consulting partner, he focused almost exclusively on real estate companies.

Schulte is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In addition, he teaches economics, business and accounting as an adjunct instructor at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.
