This portion of town includes the Market center and many of the city's newest developments, reflecting its status as the preferred neighborhood for commuters to the metro area. Following this new development, it is also the location of the planned "Superblock" project, comprised of hundreds of luxurious condos and apartment buildings, as well as a slew of commercial spaces.

Fun Fact

Westside, MD, is home to the grave of Edgar Allan Poe, located at the Westminster Hall Burial Ground. Originally an unmarked grave when Poe was buried in 1849, a monument was eventually erected and dedicated in 1875.
