This house and property is AMAZING but needs a little TLC in a 2 primary areas: (1) the natural cedar siding creates a beautiful exterior finish to home (but currently needs some maintenance. Most siding is structurally in good condition and needs only typical maintenance of sand and stain, especially on side of home that gets full sun. A few boards could use replacement but the wear and tear isn't anything that makes it an urgent project. With only sand and stain you could enjoy the existing siding for years to come. Wood decking rails also could use maintenance/sand/stain). (2) Wet basement: significant waterproofing has been done: added gravity drain to remediate flooding issues without need of electricity so sump well drains even in power outages; installed perimeter french drain and french drain in walkout. Basement still gets damp along french drain in extreme storm or flash-flooding conditions & waterproofing company that installed the french drain recommended finishing the waterproofing w/ an exterior french drain. Neither the siding nor the wet basement keep this home from being move-in ready. All living spaces are in good condition and have been a wonderful home for years with the homes amazing features far outweighing the issues.
