Hello. My wife & I have decided to sell our house in Glenside. We moved out of state two years ago, but held on to the property as a rental. Please read the details in this listing carefully. The house has three bedrooms & two baths. The upstairs bathroom is a shower/tub combo and the downstairs has a shower only. All three bedrooms are upstairs. One of the three is a larger, master bedroom that faces the street. I'll post measurements for the three bedrooms within the next couple of days. The backyard is quite large, completely fenced in, & has two entry/exit gates. The backyard also has a shed where we kept the lawnmower and other items for the garden. It's a beautiful space with giant, mature trees and multiple flowering plants that we added. A screened in porch (that we completely rebuilt in 2016) overlooks the backyard. The kitchen is smaller, L-shaped, and has a super cute nook to place a breakfast table or sitting area. The fridge is older, but the range and dishwasher were all brand new in 2015. A window over the sink allows you to look out into the backyard. There are two common areas that are adorable. The front area has a large bay window that overlooks the street and a working fireplace. Built in bookshelves add a lot of charm. The living/TV room in the back has windows that overlook the deck and a huge bay window that overlooks the backyard. It can be pretty magical to sit in there and look at the leaves in fall, the snow in winter, or the flowering plants in the warmer months. The basement is what I would consider 'half finished'. We tore out all the carpet when we bought the house and poured down a high-sheen concrete paint. We also sealed the walls with dry-lock extreme to eliminate dust and keep most of the groundwater out. The basement has two small windows. We replaced the furnace and hot water heater in 2015/2016. The air conditioning unit is older but works fine. The garage (electric door) is for a single car, but it's extra deep. You can easily use the rear of the garage for storage and still park a car in there. I can't say enough about the neighborhood and people who live there. It's a special place. K-i-d-s are everywhere. The neighbors are very friendly. The Glenside train station is a 8-10 minute walk away and Primex, a well-stocked local garden center, is a 5 minute walk. The house is an 8-10 walk to the shops in Glenside on Easton Ave. As you can probably tell from what I've written, we love this house and neighborhood. Our first two c-h-i-l-d-r-e-n were born there . If you have, or are thinking about starting a f-a-m-i-l-y, this could be a great match. Now that's all the good news. There is one main challenge with this property. We have tenants living in this house who have three little ones and a fourth is on the way. Their lease does not end until June 30th 2022. Here's the thing: by the time a buyer completes home inspections, an appraisal, and the mortgage process, it will be September/October.
