Tangier Island Colonial home: Come winter will be ever so peaceful, Spring to late fall located in the center of town, where folks will walk by after coming onshore from the ferry boats. 3 bedrooms in all with master on the 1st floor and full bath. Country kitchen with adjacent dining room. The sitting room and dining room can be accessed by the sunroom. I don't need an excuse to head to the island, yet it sure is super working at the same time while enjoying my new and old friends. Island life is so special.

Over The Bridge to Allen Alley Tangier: Circa 1968 fines this 3 bedroom, 2 bath, home well constructed with expansive views of Canton Creek and with frontage on the Chesapeake Bay. Foyer, dining room, eat-in kitchen, sitting rooms, office. and attic, storage shed too. The island receives quite a few visitors each year but Canton Road leading to Allen Alley is the quiet area and most sought after by locals.3 ferries, one year-round, and an airport grant easy access to the island. A bike ride away is a lovely beach and while being set apart from the crowds, only a golf cart ride away to Main Street. Long Bridge Cottage, Tangier Island: Set apart from Main St, down a little lane is this 1015 sq' home. Now is the first time this home has been offered after several generations of the same family occupying and building all the memories of friends, family, and island life. I had to catch the return boat at 3 pm to Onancock, even though would have preferred to listen to all the stories, Tangier folks readily share. The majority of living is on the 1st floor, sitting room, eat-in kitchen, master bedroom, full bath, and two enclosed porches. The bridge that reaches the airport road and navigable waters is less than a block. The expertise of Captain Crockett, on the Onancock ferry is rather impressive, giving way to an enjoyable voyage.
