Greg Scott

Senior Vice President of Branch Services
Greg Scott was promoted to senior vice president in 2021, and previously held the position of  vice president of branch services for Long & Foster Real Estate since 2014. He is responsible for supporting branch management and sales associates throughout the company’s seven-state region and the District of Columbia.

Scott first joined Long & Foster Real Estate after becoming an agent in October 2002, and has worked as a full time Realtor since that time. He began his career as a sales agent at Long & Foster’s College Park office, and then transferred to the Bowie office, both located in Maryland. He then managed Long & Foster’s Capitol Hill office in Washington, D.C., and the Bethesda Gateway office in Maryland. Scott specializes in technology coaching, internet marketing and business planning.

Prior to joining Long & Foster, Scott worked for Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Md., as the landscape maintenance division sales manager; at The Behnke Nursery Companies in Potomac, Md., as department manager; and owned a landscape company for several years. He worked extensively in landscape design, installation and maintenance of native and exotic trees, shrubs and grasses.

Born in Washington, D.C., and a lifelong resident of Maryland, Scott received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in Turf and Urban Agronomy in 2000. He is a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. He is a member of Long & Foster’s Gold Team and has been named to the company’s President’s Club, Chairman’s Club and Founder’s Club. His team, Team Scott, received the top team in sales award for the Southern Maryland region in 2005. He has served as a Buffini Certified Mentor and is a Sweathog graduate. He is an avid skier who loves being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his two sons, Ryan and Justin.
