Bethlehem is a city located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. The town was founded on Christmas Eve 1741, by a group of Moravian missionaries. Over the next 275 years, Bethlehem would grow to become the seventh largest city in Pennsylvania. It is conveniently located just 70 miles from Philadelphia, 80 miles from New York City and 90 miles from Pennsylvania's state capital, Harrisburg.

The Bethlehem Loop also transports passengers across the Lehigh River. Even with transportation available in the downtown area, most residents travel by car. The town's close proximity to major highways like Interstate 78, Interstate 476 and Route 22 offer easy access to nearby cities, such as Reading, New York City, and Philadelphia.
