Moneta, Virginia, is one of many unincorporated communities in this part of Bedford County, and it offers its residents a tranquil atmosphere with easy access to nature trails and lots of green space, all close to historic attractions. Although it's rural, the bright lights of Hollywood made their way to Moneta back in the 1990s, when a great deal of the movie "What About Bob," starring Bill Murray, was filmed here.
