Things to Do

The neighborhood is home to several lovely parks and recreational hotspots, including Stony Run Park, Guilford Gateway Park, and the beautiful Sherwood Gardens, starting as a hobby for John Sherwood, a conservationist who was prominent in the area during the 1920s; today, the tulip garden features over 80,000 tulip bulbs. When they aren't gardening or strolling along the area's many walking paths, Guilford residents hang out at the Bedford Square Station. Residents also enjoy attending events hosted by the Guilford Association, including annual Halloween parades, spring egg hunts, and holiday cocktail parties.
