David D. Pool

David Pool is an Associate Broker with Long & Foster Real Estate, licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He represents Buyer’s or Seller’s with the purchase or sale of residential, investment and commercial real estate. His service area includes Washington and Frederick Counties in Maryland, Franklin and Fulton Counties in Pennsylvania and Morgan, Berkeley and Jefferson Counties in West Virginia. He is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). David has been associated with Long & Foster since 1989 with over 942 transactions and $162 million in sales. David is a member of the Pen-Mar Regional Association of Realtors and has served as President of the Associations Board of Directors.

Prior to selling real estate David was employed by the Boy Scouts of America for 20 years. He worked for local Scout Councils in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maryland. His last responsibility with the Boy Scouts of America was as Scout Executive (Executive Director) for the Mason Dixon Council, BSA, Hagerstown, Maryland.

David is a graduate of Wisconsin State University, Stevens Point, Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Civic responsibilities have included: past member of the Washington County Department of Social Services Advisory Board having served two terms as Chairperson; the Maryland Association of Social Services Boards having served as Chairperson; Currently serving as a Vice-Chairperson with the Washington County Housing Authority. Previously David served on the boards of Turning Point of Washington County and Chairperson of Positive Influence in Frederick County.

David is a Rotarian and designated a Paul Harris Fellow. He currently serves as Secretary for the Hagerstown Rotary Club Foundation.
