Samantha's Background:
Samantha is originally from the other Washington, Washington State. She moved to the East Coast in 2000 and has been based in the DC/Baltimore area since 2002. Although the Pacific Northwest will always have a part of her heart, she’s truly at home in DC. Samantha earned a BA in Biology at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, her MPH at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and JD at Georgetown University, where she focused on negotiation and mediation. Samantha's diverse background in law, science, ethics, policy, and research provides her with unique insights and strengths in real estate transactions. Samantha was Rookie of the Year for her office in 2014, and was Rookie of the Year for the Greater Capitol AreaAssociation of REALTORS® (GCAAR) in 2017. She has consistently been a top producer within Long & Foster. In addition, Samantha has been involved with GCAAR Cares, the community service committee ofGCAAR since 2014, was co-chair in 2017, and chair of the committee in 2018. In 2020 she joined the GCAAR Board of Directors as a Director and became Treasurer of GCAAR in 2021.
