Halifax native Scotty Felton, an associate broker and lead agent at Long and Foster in South Boston, brings passion to every aspect of her life. She loves her Lord, her family, her community, and her real estate associates. Although Scotty has been in business for 27 years, the favorite season in her life was when she was a stay-at-home mom to her two children, Melissa and Raleigh. Today, she revels in spending time with her four grandchildren in Richmond and California.

Before finding her true calling in real estate, Scotty owned and operated a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio and wrote a weekly feature in the local newspaper, the News and Record, entitled "Beauty for the Asking."

Today, Scotty utilizes her eclectic talents to promote Halifax County and to support multiple civic organizations and individuals. The community loves her many contests that highlight local heroes from educators to emergency workers. Her recent love story challenge honored area couples, whose enduring dedication inspired admiration and delight.

Scotty brings that same passion and pride to every real estate transaction she handles. She works hard to make sure that buyers as well as sellers are more than satisfied with their contracts. She nurtures new real estate agents and generously shares her expertise and experience. She uses her talents and time to improve and support her community, her family, and especially her clients.
